  • Insects are the largest group of animals on earth, more than 80% of other living species. The existence of insects is beneficial for humans such as insect pollinators. The existence of pollinator insects in nature has decreased and is on the verge of crisis. Decreasing insect pollinators due to some of them, natural land use into housing and the use of insecticides in the agricultural and plantation sectors. Therefore researchers want to conduct research by knowing the diversity of pollinator insects in the Bondas forest area of Batu city, where urban forests are one of the alternative solutions for providing natural habitat. This type of research is descriptive exploratory using the roaming method in the Bondas city forest area which has been divided into four lanes. The results of this study are in the form of identification of pollinator insects that will be used as a source of learning biodiversity biology in the form of booklets for class X high school / MA education. The results of identification of pollinator insects obtained consisted of 1 sub family and 8 genera, namely Idiopsis, Leptosia, Charidotella, Apis, Hypolimnas, Eudasypora, Isodontia and Utetheisa, and one sub family of Coccinellinae. The diversity index of pollinator insects in the Bondas forest area is 2,047 which is in the medium category. The density of pollinator insects found in the highest bondas forest is the Apis genus and the lowest is the Charidotella genus. The diversity value of pollinator insects is influenced by several abiotic factors such as air temperature, air humidity, wind speed and also the results of this study can be used as a learning source in the form of booklets.
