- The purpose of this study is to to develop PBL-based modules that can improve critical thinking skills and self-efficacy of students. Further analysis is done to see how effective the use of teaching materials in the form module of the ability of critical thinking mathematically. The research was conducted at SMK Negeri Temayang Bojonegoro in the first semester of academic year 2018/2019. Subjects in this study were divided into several stages; 1) Preliminary Study Subjects and 2) Subject Field Trial. Subject to the preliminary study is the teachers who teach Mathematics in class XI. While the subject is a field test TKJ grade students who have to take material straight line equation. Module development equation of straight line-based PBL to enhance critical thinking skills and self efficacy of these students have advantages, including 1) improving the thinking skills of learners developed by E Apino (2017) states that there are similarities that design developed to facilitate the learners to develop skills analyzing and evaluating (critical thinking) and the ability to create (creative thinking), 2) provide space for students to find and connect themselves mathematical concepts, it can develop students' mathematical thinking skills.
