- Children with ODD are very susceptible to any obstructions in their activities. This kind of children generally tend to grow the the anti-social personality and do drug abuse. Therefore, it is very important to give an intervention for these children. The intervention felt appropriate with this obstruction is behavioral therapy. Behavioral therapy, in this research, applied two techniques: token economy and modeling. The purpose of this research is to know the behavioral changes on the children with oppositional defiant disorder by applying behavioral therapy. The subjects of this research are girls with ODD. This diagnose can be obtained after the first assessment is completed. Data collecting technique are interview, observation dan behavioral therapy. Data analysis technique is done through descriptive and graphics. Research, result shows that the process of behavioral therapy by applying both behavioral therapy: token economy dan modelling is affected enough to subject’s behavioral changes. For examples: avoid any debate, asked to do something by mother, and able to fulfill the mother’s rules. Although it still exists some symptoms, like easy to get angry and hate others and easy to be offended, but those behaviors are not too snap-cap as the previous therapy. Subject able to transfer her angry by watching TV or avoiding. While for the obstruction factors of behavioral changes on subject are the limited time to study, the lack of support from the family member especially mother dan the dependence of research. The supporter factors of behavioral changes that influenced by reward and appreciation and subject’s motivation to be a good child loved by their family.
