- This research aims to find out: (a) the English for Young Learner materials used by the teacher of grade 4 in Primagama Homeschooling Malang and (b) the way of delivering the materials in teaching and learning activities in Primagama Homeschooling Malang. This research used a qualitative research design. This research also used document analysis, interviews, and observation techniques. The research subject was the English teacher of grade four in Primagama Homeschooling Malang. It is found that the majority of the materials used are related to students' daily English usage. There are 3 main topics of the English materials, they are: 1.) Daily English Usage for Communication, 2.) Daily English Usage to tell about Environment, and 3.) Daily English Usage at School. The materials were taken from printed book, work-sheet and the electronic book. Those materials are used to help the homeschooled students to pass the standardized government examination. This research has also discovered the ways of delivering those English materials. The materials were delivered by face to face method, which is the student and the teacher discus the materials together whether in the home-setting or in the Primagama Homeschooling’s office. They built a bonding in the teaching and learning activities, so that the student understand the materials deeply. It was very helpful for students to pain completing the final exam as the government has declared.
