- In this study, the teacher used the English translated children’s songs as a media for teaching English for young learners. The teacher applied the song media in the online conference program accessible remotely through online media. The purpose of this study is to know the type of song used by the teacher and the teacher procedure in teaching English translated children’s songs through Online Conference at SDN Mojorejo 1 Kota Batu. It was conducted at SDN Mojorejo 1 because this school implemented the song media through the Online Conference Program. The research design used in this study was descriptive qualitative design. The subject was an English teacher at SDN Mojorejo 1 Kota Batu with two instruments, such as observation field note and interview guide. The data analysis was familiarizing and organizing the observation and interview data, coding the raw data, and interpreting and representing the data. The findings were three songs used in teaching learning process, such as: Gecko-Gecko, Rainbow oh Rainbow, and Hiking to the Mountain top. The type of these songs were popular children’s song. The teacher taught the song media through the Online Conference program. This study showed that teaching English by using song media through the Online Conference program runs smoothly proven by student’s ability memorize the vocabulary very well, the students sang the song lyrics with the correct pronunciation, and the students confidently sang the English translated children’s songs to the teacher and foreign students. It can be concluded that the used of song media in English language learning through the Online Conference program is implemented well in SDN Mojorejo 1 Kota Batu.
