  • Character and conservation values become important competencies for students, but teachers have not yet directed and do not even facilitate students so that learning is only listening and doing tasks. The purpose of this research is to analyze the implementation of the CBL (Conservation Based Learning) learning model can improve the values (character, conservation) and motivation of students. This research is a class action study with a qualitative approach consisting of two cycles of learning. Research conducted at SMKN 1 Malang grade X ATPH 2 as many as 27 students, a tool to measure the values and motivation of students using the observation sheet. The motivation results of learning students with a very high category of 40%, and the results of conservation values are: intrinsic value (ecology, education) and extrinsic (environment, beauty, and economics). Meanwhile, the value of the character appears integrity, independent, Gotong Royong. It can be concluded that the CBL learning model can improve learning motivation and student values.
