  • SMK students in addition to the ability to have creative thinking, also able to see opportunities in the workplace, but the learning in the classroom has not fully fulfilled the ability. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of the Conservation Based Learning (CBL) learning model on the creative thinking skills of students. This type of experimental quation research using Posttest-Only Control Design Research, sample research consists of; SMK Muhammadiyah 01 Stone with a total of 20 students of CBL and 18 students non CBL while SMKN 01 Malang with a total of 29 students CBL class and 27 non CBL students. The quantitative data type is derived from the average posttest, in the independent test of the T-Test sample. The results showed that the average student value in the experimental class in SMK Muhammadiyah 01 Batu amounted to 61.11 in category able to vary the work while at SMKN 01 Malang experimental grade average value of 65.51 in category capable Combine. Based on the results it can be concluded that the CBL model affects students ' creative thinking skills.
