- This study will describe the role, process, and obstacles of parents in growing students' spirituality in MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Malang. The role of parents in question is about the things parents do in educating their children in the family environment. While the process in question is the stages and ways of parents in growing spiritually. As well as the obstacles in question are matters relating to parents' obstacles in growing a child's spirituality. This study aims to describe the roles, processes and obstacles of parents in growing the spiritual of students in MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Malang. This researcher uses a qualitative research approach with research subjects being teachers, parents, and students in growing spiritually. The data obtained comes from data collected by researchers through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. While the data analysis uses the analysis model of Miles Hubermen, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate, that in growing students 'spiritual, parents have a role in growing students' spiritual. The data is proven by the things parents do in educating their children at home, as well as the stages that parents do in growing spiritually.
