- Koi fish (Cyprinus carpio) is one of the ornamental fish that has high economic value which is still included in the relatives of carp. The high number of demand from the ornamental fish market is sometimes not fulfilled because the number of ornamental fish produced is still reduced or still insufficient. One of the obstacles in the cultivation of koi fish is the low survival rate and relatively slow fish growth rate. One effort to overcome the low survival and growth rate is by giving the right feed in terms of size, amount, and nutrient content of the feed. In order to improve survival and accelerate the process of the growth rate of koi fish, research needs to be done regarding feeding with the addition of vitamin C that is right for survival and the rate of growth of koi fish seeds. The method used in the study was an experimental method and a completely randomized design (CRD) of 1 factor with 5 levels of treatment (0 ml / kg; 150 ml / kg; 200 ml / kg; 250ml / kg; 300 ml / kg) and 3 replications. The data obtained were analyzed using diversity analysis (ANOVA), if there were differences in the results of the effectiveness of the treatment carried out further tests of LSD with a real level of 5%. The results show that the addition of Vitamin C can affect the daily growth rate, absolute length and SR (Survival Rate) with a dose between 250-300 ml / kg of feed while at SGR (Specific Growth Rate), FCR (Feed Confersion Ratio), absolute weight has no effect evident in the seeds of koi fish (Cyprinus carpio). The average results of measurements of water quality (pH, DO and temperature) of all treatments were in the normal range of pH 8.3-8.4; DO 56.2-6.3 mg / L; temperature of 25-26 ° C.
