- ABSTRACTION Batu City is one of the cities in East Java that has high agricultural potential, so farmers are one of the professions occupied by people in Batu City. Various types of vegetables and fruits that are planted by farmers in Batu City and farmers also plant organic and non-organic planting, but non-organic farmers still use agricultural drugs, one of which is pesticides. According to the pesticide farmers is one of the supporters of the success of the farmers' crops. At this time there are so many pesticides in Batu City that there are fake pesticides used by farmers. According to the Agriculture Office of Batu City, there is still no supervision on the distribution of pesticides, but supervision is only carried out on the distribution of fertilizers, therefore many farmers are disadvantaged by the circulation of fake pesticides, whereas according to the rules in the Ministry of Agriculture there is the formation of KP3 (Fertilizer and Pesticide Supervisory Commission) The Batu City Agriculture Service is only limited to supervising fertilizers and so far the service has not received reports of fake pesticides, but according to farmers there are still fake pesticides on the market so farmers are often disadvantaged by the existence of fake pesticides. And so far the farmers' report is only limited to the report to the police and the police can not follow up because there is no strong evidence of the existence of fake pesticides.
