  • One of the heavy metals that are found as pollutants is lead (Pb). Lead (Pb) heavy metals will enter the coastal and marine ecosystems, some of which will settle to the seabed, some will dissolve in water and some will enter the organism's body tissue. Naturally, the presence of lead metal can enter the water environment by crystallizing Pb and then moving with the help of wind motion and the amount of water that falls. The high level of lead metal toxicity produced will affect all organisms, this can be caused by one of them from industrial liquid waste which will be the main indication of environmental pollution. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a lead content, the amount of lead content in petek meat is in TPI Muncar District, Banyuwangi Regency and to know its utilization as a source of learning biology. Research using descriptive. The research sample in the form of sea water and petek meat (Leiognathus splendens) and analysis using the AAS Test. The results obtained from the lead testing in the samples will be compared with the maximum limit of lead contamination in food in fish and the results of their processing are listed in the National Standardization Agency for 2009 and then explained in description. The results showed that there was heavy lead metal content in petek meat found in TPI Muncar District, Banyuwangi Regency. Large lead content of heavy metals (Pb) found in pet meat in TPI Muncar District, Banyuwangi District using three different stations. The average concentration of lead heavy metals found in pet meat at station I was 1.58 mg / kg, station II 1.28 mg / kg, and station III 0.58. These three stations have an average difference in the concentration of lead found in petek meat. The results of the study can be utilized as a Biology Learning Resource.
