  • This research is motivated by the low value of the results of fourth grade students in semester I. This is due to the large number of students lacking attention to learning and not concentrating, and of 22 student 36,4% who meet the KKM (Minimum completeness criteria) set by the school, namely 75. In addtion, the media used by teachers are not approprite in learning so there is a need for approprite alternative media. This study aims to : 1) Describe the application of mini zoo media that can improve student learning outcomes in theme 3 on the diversity of living creatures in my class IV at Brongkal Elementary School. 2) Describing student learning outcomes on theme 3 of the subtem diversity of living things in my environment after applying mini zoo class IV media at Brongkal Elementary School. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with PTK (Classroom Action Research) research which is conducted in two cycles. The research was conducted at Brongkal Elementary School in Malang Regency with the subjects of class IV totaling 20 student. Data collection methods in this study were carried out using obsevations, questionnaires, interviews, and tests. This results of the classroom action research show that : 1) The application of Mini Zoo learing media to thematic learning to improve the learning outcomes of grade IV students at SDN Brongkal Malang Regency is in accordance with the RPP. 2) Mini Zoo learning media on thematic learning can improve student learning outcomes by 70% in the first cycle and in the second cycle the increase is more than the target of 90%.
