  • Over time, increasing population and human activity can cause problems because they tend to use land for greater use, which can have consequences for changes in land use. Improper changes in land use can disrupt the hydrological function of the watershed and cause losses in the area. The state of the Kali Account underwater sheath has changed land use from year to year, including land conversion. The proposed land use change is the tourism and agriculture sector as the economic activity of the Kali Account watershed area is currently dominated by the agricultural sector. The aim of this study is to determine the change conditions around the Kali Account SUB watershed and to determine the ratio of land cover to fluctuations in water drainage and the ratio of land cover to precipitation. The method used is a survey method using secondary data, which is then analyzed using a regression test. Based on the studies carried out, land cover has decreased from year to year due to land conversion in tourism and agriculture. One of the functions of this land transformation that can cause problems is the decrease in forest area. While the relationship between land cover with fluctuations in water discharge and land cover with precipitation does not influence each other, because forests basically do not increase the drainage of a watershed but rather decrease it. As a result of unstable rainfall and decreasing land cover, the forest and soil deteriorate, reducing the effective area of forest vegetation so that it cannot act as a protective subsystem in a watershed as a whole.
