- Ecotourism is an activity to make a tour by some travelers. It responsible to keep the sustainability for some areas that still nature, gives some benefit for economic side and to maintain the culture value for the society around there. However, the main point that the ecotourism is a conservation movement did by the society. Coban Tumpak Sewu Waterfall located in Sidorenggo village, Malang district which the depth is 150 m. The data analyzing that used was interaction matrix SWOT; it was because the researcher wanted to know the strategy in developing the Coban Tumpak Sewu waterfall in Sidorenggo village, Malang district. The waterfall is managed by the society around there, totally 6 persons; they are 4 males and 2 females with an occupation as entrepreneur is 16,7%, as the manager of the ecotourism is 33,3%, and both is 50%. The income per day is, for free day is about IDR. 120.000 until IDR. 150.000, for holiday iabout IDR 300.000 until IDR 500.000. To manage the waterfall, the society use a strategy, it is Strength-Opportunity (S-O) aims to develop the potential of natural resource which belongs to Coban Tumpak Sewu waterfall, then Weakness-Opportunity Strategy (W-O), it shows to improve the facilitate, that make the tourism interested more about the waterfall, and to maintain the security and comfortable for the visitors, and the last is Weakness-Threat Strategy (W-T), it collaborates with the Forested and Tourism Government, to increase the attraction and to optimize the human resources to help the society economic.
