The efforts of the Transportation Agency in the Implementation of the People's Port Development Policy in Buru Regency. The purpose of this research is to find out how to work on the Department of Transportation in carrying out the construction of the People's Port in Buru Regency. In addition, this study also aims to find out the inhibiting factors that affect the Department of Transportation in the implementation of the construction of the People's Port in Buru Regency. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method by studying case studies. Qualitative research methods by using this case study, discussing, explaining, or interpreting a number of cases or discussing and discussing narratives in their context without intervention from outside parties. In this study, the data collection methods chosen were techniques of participant observation, in-depth interviews, semi-structured interviews and arrangements. The validity method of the data used uses data sources competing. The method of data analysis uses Miles and Hubermas which are derived from data reduction, data presentation and conclusion gathering. The data sources used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The results of the study show that the efforts of the Transportation Agency in implementing the development policy of the People's Port in Buru Regency have made several efforts. For example, supervise the construction of Buru Port and evaluate the construction of the Buru Port. In addition, the Buru District Transportation Agency is also improving the development plan of the People's Port. For example, the development port of the People's Port, inadequate and incomplete human resources and support from related parties in the construction of the People's Port in Buru Regency
