- This study aims to determine the influence of learning media on learning outcomes of VIII graders, as well as the benefits obtained by students when learning using the media. This method uses a quantitative approach with the type of experimental research while the method of data retrieval is based on matching techniques. With the implementation procedure through three steps, namely: measurement before experiment, action or treatment, measurement after treatment. Data collection method uses observation method, giving a pre-test and post-test questions, and documentation. The subject of this research is the eighth-grade students of SMP PGRI 01 Karangploso Malang. With a total of 50 students consisting of 25 control class students and 25 experimental class students. The results of this study indicate the learning outcomes of class students who are not given treatment (pre-test results) that is equal to 51.20% and the students are given a post-test and the student scores experience a slight change of 66.80%. While the class has given treatment (pre-test results) that is equal to 59.60% then students were given a post-test and experienced a significant increase in the value of 79.60%. The influence of learning media on learning outcomes of eighth-grade students in Islamic Religious Education subjects can be seen from the t-test calculation at a significant level of 5%. Test-t 5.060> 0.396 as a table rvalue. This means that the hypothesis is accepted that there is a significant effect due to the application of learning media on student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education subjects.
