- There are still cases of domestic violence in Lamongan’s district especially the victim is more dominant to a wife, nowadays. This study takes the problem of the study regarding the factors that cause domestic violence, forms of domestic violence, and legal protection for victims of domestic violence. This study uses a sociological juridical approach. Primary data sources were obtained from Lamongan Regional Police Station, secondary data sources were obtained from legislation, journals, legal literature relating to the object of the study, and tertiary data sources were obtained from encyclopedias, dictionaries and others. Data collection techniques be in the form of interview with PPA Lamongan Police Office. The research data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative. The results of the study were there still cases of domestic violence in 2017 to 2019. In conclusion, within a period of 3 years, starting from 2017 to 2019 cases of domestic violence as many as 14 cases. Forms of physical violence 15 (fifteen) cases and psychological violence 1 (one) case. Because of economic factors, infidelity, husband or wife behavior, and psychology. In suggestion, it is proper for law enforcers, institutions or other relevant agencies to cooperate with each other and try to find quality alternative ways to eliminate and prevent domestic violence that occurs in Lamongan Regency
