- ABSTRAK Rizky Lintang Wijaya, 2020, 201310030311024, Community Development Based on the Participation of the Community of Reading Lantern huts in Sukolilo Village. This empowerment aims to empower the community through the movement of the community so that they get a better life. The study carried out the concept of empowering participating in society with the appropriate stages. This study uses a qualitative approach with the subject of the reading shack administrators, the beneficiaries are the community, especially the younger siblings of the mobile library program in Sukolilo Village. Data collection is done by observation, interview and documentation techniques. Techniques used in data analysis are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Triangulation is used to explain data using informants. The results of the study are community empowerment through community participation with a mobile library program conducted by the State Reading Lantern Shack is empowering participation by using Community Development, which is the management being an actor who plays a role in the empowerment process. The approach taken by the National Lantern Reading Hut here is to use the Macro approach. In addition, the empowerment based on the participation of the National Lantern Reading Center undertakes several participations, namely: carrying out community-based community empowerment programs, participation programs, planning, and active activities at the State Lentera Reading Hut.
