- One form of intelligence support provided by Intelligence Public Prosecution of Batu for Important Cases in the Field of Public Crimes is an intelligence operation which consisting of investigation, security, and pre-conditioning. In handling such cases, investigation and pre-conditioning actions are not implemented. The method in this paper uses sociological juridical where analysis of law is directly linked to the analysis of the social situation to which the law applies. Sources of data gathered by interviews as primary data meanwhile books, acts, and others as secondary data. The data were then analyzed by analyzing qualitative data presented descriptively so that answers obtained in accordance with the problems were closely related to this study. The conclusion of this research is the role of intelligence operations for supporting the Field of Public Crimes while handling important cases only done by security in the form of security of personnel.
