  • Background : Diabetic Mellitus with chronic Ganggrene complications caused by prolonged Diabetic Mellitus with tissue damage and changes the structure of the lwer leg causing injuries due to Uncontrolled hyperglycemia the patients of Diabetes Mellitus of angiopathy and neuropathy so bacterial infection easily occur. At this time, research is recommended Ceftriaxone and antibiotic empiric theraphy, Ceftriaxone is a third-generation cephaslosporin class that has broad spectrum. Objective : knew the pattern of Ceftriaxone in patients about Diabetes Mellitus with gangrene type, dosage, route, intervals, correlated with chemical and laboratory data clinic. Method : It used retrospective descriptive observational in patients of Diabetic Mellitus gangrene sampling periods from January to December 2016. Result and Conclusion : Single use most Ceftriaxone (2x1g) as much as the 3 patients (14%) IV, Ceftriaxone (2x1g) IV and Metronidazole (3x500mg) IV as many as 12 patients (76%), while for a combination of three i.e. Ceftriaxone (2x1g) IV Ciprofloxacin (2x200mg) IV Metronidazole (2x500mg) IV as 6 patients (32%).
