- In the planning of dwelling buildings with reinforced concrete is generally used slab system consisting of plate and beam structures. On this plate almost all expenses incurred be borne by the structure of beams. In a large landscape is usually to resist shear stress which occurs requiring substantial depth of the beam, so the higher the level is increasing. To overcome this you can use a flat plate systems without beam. Calculations using a fictitious portal portal approach the problem by assuming that three-dimensional framework structure containing an array of two-dimensional rigid portal frame in the field column.
