  • Currently the development of buildings is growing rapidly and is inseparable from the structural problems of the building itself. One of the requirements for a building's feasibility is good structural stability. The amount of load on the upper structure will be directly proportional to the height of a building, so that to meet the eligibility requirements a supporting foundation is needed. Loads that work on the foundation need to be calculated by analyzing the combination of dead load, live load and earthquake load based on SNI 03-1726-2012 using supporting applications. In addition, soil conditions as well as environmental conditions are considered in the foundation planning. Zest Hotel Ambon building is located in the middle of the city and next to other tall buildings. With the majority of soil conditions are sandy clay, the bored pile foundation is suitable for use in this building. The bored pile foundation is planned to use a 50cm circular cross section with the depth and number of piles adjusting to hard soil conditions based on CPT (Cone Penetration Test) data. From the calculation results, the bearing capacity of the foundation pole is 1290.67 kN per pole with the greatest decrease of 0.0779 m. The bored pile foundation is planned to use 8 main reinforcement 22 mm in diameter with spiral reinforcement 13 mm in diameter 90 mm. bored pile foundation using pilecap 0.8 m thick and using reinforcement 25 diameter 100 mm distance.
