- Background: The quality of health services was the excellence of health service that meets for standard of profession and services. The quality of health services was measured by five dimensions: reliability, assurance, tangible, empathy, responsiveness. The final purpose of the quality of health services was the patient satisfaction. Objective: To determine the relationship between the quality of health services and patient satisfaction at Prof. Dr. Soekandar Mojosari Regional General Hospital. Method: Quantitative observational analytic study with cross sectional approach. Sample was obtained from Prof. Dr. Soekandar Mojosari Regional General Hospital that meets for inclusion criteria. Results and Discussion: Based on the bivariate analysis test results using Kendall's tau test, the results obtained P = 0,000 (P <0.05) which states that there was relationship between the quality of heatlh services and patient satisfaction. It shows that the quality of health care significantly impact on patient satisfaction. If the quality of service provided is good, patient will be satisfied, and otherwise. Conclusion: There was relationship between the quality of health services and the level of satisfaction of patients. The good quality of health services produces high level patient satisfaction.
