  • The KAO Chemical Karawang International Industrial City warehouse has 5 floors which originally planned to use reinforced concrete structures on the 1st floor and steel structures on the 2nd floor to the roof. In this plan, another alternative is provided using composite steel on floor plates, joists, and main beams. The composite steel structure will produce a profile/element design that is stronger and stiffer than non-composite structures. The loading plan is based on SNI 1727: 2013 and the steel structure design plan is based on SNI 1729: 2015 using the LRFD method. From the results of the analysis obtained the roof plate and floor using a floor deck with a thickness of 120 mm and a main reinforcement Ø10-150 mm and a shrinkage reinforcement Ø6-250 mm, joist with a profile of WF 300 x 150 x 6.5 x 9 and floor joists with a profile of WF 300 x 150 x 6.5 x 9, roof transverse beam with a profile of WF 400 x 200 x 8 x 13 and floor transverse beam with a profile of WF 450 x 200 x 9 x 14, roof longitudinal beam with a profile of WF 300 x 150 x 6.5 x 9 and floor longitudinal beam with a profile of WF 400 x 200 x 8 x 13, the column with profile of WF 350 x 350 x 12 x 19. The maximum deflection in the joist is 19.10 mm, the transverse beam is 18.66 mm, and the longitudinal main beam is 19,10 mm that still meet the maximum deflection requirements which is less than L/360.
