- Academic information system is a system that provides information in the form of data relating to academic services, academic systems which makes the academic process more efficient. Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah 1 Malang is one of the educational institutions which needs an academic information system in order to support the academic process. This paper will discuss the development of academic information systems at Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah 1 Malang web-based school. The method used in the development of academic information systems is the tailor made software method. By using the tailor made software method, the writer has succeeded in developing the system needed by Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah 1 Malang, which is a monitoring system focused on parents' supervision of children.
