  • Based on data from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in 2006, Indonesia has a wind energy potential of 9.29 GW and has been installed at 0.0005 GW. Currently the government has issued a roadmap for the use of renewable energy which targets installed capacity by 2025 to reach 17%. There are several ways to increase the power capacity of wind power plants (PLTB), namely by increasing the number of plants, but this method is quite expensive, because they have to build new plants. In this research, MPPT technology is used to increase the efficiency of PLTB by finding maximum electric power at a predetermined wind speed, and to produce duty cycle values ​​and speed up the system response using fuzzy control. This PLTB is also equipped with an On-Grid system, meaning that the production of PLTB electricity can be transferred to the PLN electricity network, so that it will help increase the electrification ratio in Indonesia. The results showed that MPPT technology was able to increase the efficiency of PLTB from 65% to 80%. The active power that can be transferred by PLTB when wind speed is 6meter / second to the grid system is 925 Watt and the recative power is -921 watt
