- The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of individual characteristics of workload and work environment on the performance of employees of the Indonesian public bank sumenep branch. The type of quantitative research using questionnaires as a population on the specifications of data collection techniques analysis tools. The results of this study are: (1) variable workload, work environment and employee performance at employees of Bank Rakyat Indonesia in Sumenep Branch are categorized sufficient, (2) workload and work environment have less significant simultaneous effect on the performance of Bank Rakyat Indonesia employees in Sumenep Branch, (3) workload has a negative effect on employee performance. While the work environment has a positive influence on performance.
