- This research aims to investigate the impact of motivation as well as compensation on the performances of employees at the Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Madya Malang (KPP Madya Malang) with job satisfaction as mediators. The sample for observation of this research is obtained from the KPP Madya Malang. In this research, the author employs a census technique or total sampling of which all populations are taken as the research samples. They are all the KPP Madya Malang’s employees accounted for 116 people. The method used in this research is a quantitative method namely Partial Least Square (PLS) Structural Model. The results show that both motivation and compensation have positive and significant impacts on the employees’ job satisfaction. The motivation and compensation also positively and significantly affect the overall employees’ performances. Another result reveals that the job satisfaction has a positive and significant impact on the overall performances. Finally, the motivation and compensation have positive and significant indirect impacts on the employees’ performances through mediators of job satisfaction.
