Daftar Isi:
- Kailan (Brassica oleraceae var. achepala) is a vegetable that can support the nutritional community because it has beneficial content such as fiber, calcium, vitamins, minerals, and proteins. Based on data from the central Statistic Agency (BPS) in 2014 showed that the production of Kailan in 2012 amounted to 5,320 Kg/Ha, while in 2014 production decreased to 3,484 Kg/Ha. Another way to help accelerate crop growth is by using coconut water (Cocos nucifera L.) as a substitute for growing regulators or chemical fertilizers. The purpose of research is to determine the effectiveness of concentrations with the interval of coconut water delivery to the plant Kailan. Research was conducted on land in the Junrejo area of Batu. The research period starts from February to May 2019. The experimental design used is group random design which is compiled factorial with two factors, the first factor is coconut water (A) consists of A0: no coconut water (control), A1:200 ml, A2:250 ml, A3:300 ml, A4:350 ml. The second factor that Used is a watering interval (I), consisting of I1: (1hst, 4hst), I2: (1hst, 4hst, 8hst), I3: (1hst, 4hst, 8hst, 12hst), there are 15 repeated combinations 3 times. The observed variables include the height of the plant, the number of leaves, the diameter of the stem, the wet weight of the plant, and the damp weight roots. All observations are analyzed using the diversity of ANOVA and when there are different results are evident followed by a 5% BNJ test. The results showed that the concentration of coconut water by watering the intensity of coconut water is real effect on the growth of Kailan crops. The concentration of coconut water 300 ml showed very noticeable effect on the height of the plant, the number of leaves, the diameter of the trunk, the wet weight of plants and wet roots. The time Interval of coconut water giving 1, 4, and 8 HST effect is very real against the height of the plant, wet weight of plants and wet root weight.
