- This research was conducted in July to September 2019 located in the village of Pasir Putih, Bungatan sub-district, Situbondo district. The purpose of this study was to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats as well as to find out the strategy in the development of the HSRT shrimp vaname seed business in Bungatan sub-district, Situbondo district. The method used in this study is purposive or deliberate way by considering the location that has the potential for hatchery of vaname shrimp in the Bungatan sub-district of Situbondo district, including Bletok, Bungatan, Pasir Putih and Kembang Sambi villages. Retrieval of data based on a questionnaire given to HSRT seedlings of vaname shrimp based on previous field observations and the data obtained were analyzed using a SWOTanalysis (Straight, Weakness, Opportunity, and Treath) so as to produce a strategy for the problems experienced by HSRT shrimp seedlings. The results showed that the results of the SWOT analysis calculation and the determination of the SWOT matrix that had been done then obtained two results, the first strategy is (S - T) Increasing the yield of vaname shrimp and the application of the marketing mix and With the support of the government, the hatchery will utilize the district district of interest the potential and the existence of human resources so that the needs of regional and international markets will be met. This research is expected to be able to provide solutions to the problems faced by the HSRT shrimp breeders in Bungatan sub-district, Situbondo district experienced recently and also as an evaluation for HSRT breeders to increase production and sales of vaname shrimp seeds by utilizing the potential in the area. the.
