Daftar Isi:
  • Puntius binotatus fish is a freshwater endemic fish in Indonesia. In line with the soaring demand for wader fish, efforts to increase the availability of wader fish also continue to be increased. Because of the slow growth of wader fish, one of the efforts to increase the effectiveness of cakul wader culture is through the use of probiotics. This study aims to look at the effect of giving different probio-7 in feed on growth and survival of Puntius binotatus fish. The study was conducted using an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design, the treatment was given in the form of adding probio-7 to pellet feed as much as 5ml / kg (P1), 10ml / kg (P2), 20ml / kg (P3) and pellet without the addition of probio -7 (control) with three replications. Data analysis using ANOVA and BNT tests at the level of 5% & 1%. The test results showed that the provision of probio-7 in feed was very significant in growth but did not significantly affect the survival and FCR of Puntius binotatus fish. The best average growth is found in the treatment with a dose of 20ml / kg with a specific growth rate of 2.54 ± 0.24% / day and daily growth of 0.56% ± 0.01% / day.
