- One sector that is a mainstay for countries in the world to sustain and carry out their economic activities is tourism. Indonesia is one of the countries with large tourism potential. Thus, the Indonesian government is trying to promote its tourism destinations by using nation branding with the heading "Wonderful Indonesia" which began in 2011. One of the countries close to Indonesia is Philippines. With a population of more than 100 million people, Philippines can be a target for potential "Wonderful Indonesia" branding in the Asean region compared to other Asean countries. Indonesian Embassy in Manila as the official representative of the country in the Philippines has an active role in Branding Wonderful Indonesia. Based on this, this study examines the role of the Indonesian Embassy in Manila in the branding of "Wonderful Indonesia" in the Philippines in 2016-2018 which is formulated with the concept of nation branding proposed by Simon Anholt. The purpose of this study is to illustrate how the Indonesian Embassy in Manila's role in helping branding "Wonderful Indonesia" in the Philippines in 2016-2018 and explain how the six aspects of Hexagon Simon Anholt are implemented. This research is a descriptive study that uses qualitative analysis methods. As a result, the Indonesian Embassy in Manila has integrated the six hexagon aspects of Simon Anholt which manifested in various forms of activities organized by the Indonesian Embassy in Manila outside the main tasks of the Indonesian Embassy in Manila as representatives of the Republic of Indonesia in the Philippines. Indirectly, the Indonesian Embassy in Manila has played a role in helping the branding of "Wonderful Indonesia" in the Philippines which has an impact on increasing foreign tourists visiting the Philippines to Indonesia.
