- The purpose of this study was to determine the cause of damage to date palm products at PT.Lawang Agung Malang using the fishbone diagram method. The place of this research was conducted at PT.Lawang Agung Malang. The data obtained are from the total production data of dates and damage data on dates for three months. The results of the study revealed that by using the fishbone diagram method it is known that the factors that influence the damage of date palm products at PT. Lawang Agung Malang is human, method, material / raw material, and machine, so that the company can take preventative and repair measures to reduce the level of damage and improve product quality.
