- This research law explains the cases of rape committed by children in the city of Nganjuk which have experienced an increase every year. In this case, the author is interested in knowing the cause of a child committing the Crime. The problem approach in this research is to use the Field Research Method (Socio Legal Research). The data used are primary data obtained by interviewing secondary data obtained through library research. That based on the results of research conducted by the writer at Nganjuk Regional Police the cause of a child committing Rape can be divided into 2 factors, namely Internal Factors which include psychiatric factors, Biological factors, and moral factors. While the External Factors which include environmental factors, including the family environment, economic, social, cultural, security and technological discoveries. In this case the Nganjuk Regional Police found obstacles faced in cases of rape committed by children is in the application of restorative justice as an alternative solution to the rape crime case that is not all cases of rape can be resolved with Diversi.
