- This research focuses on foreign language anxiety (FLA) problems during the International Internship Student of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang Teaching in Thailand. There are two purposes of this research, they are: (1) to describe the common problems dealing with FLA faced by The International Internship Student of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang Teaching in Thailand (2) to investigate the strategies to cope with FLA problems faced by the International Internship Student of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang Teaching in Thailand. The method used in this research was survey design because the research was intended to describe the common problems dealing with FLA problems faced by the International Internship Student of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang Teaching in Thailand and the strategies to cope with FLA problems. The researcher used a questionnaire and interview as research instrument. The participants were 49 students Faculty of Teacher Training and Education on the seventh semester of academic year 2018/2019. The findings revealed that there were three common problems; communication apprehension, test anxiety and fear of negative social evaluation during the International Internship Student of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang Teaching in Thailand. There are three ways which were used by participants to cope with those problems, such us: self-encouragement, clear teaching formulation and frequent overseas trips.
