  • Potatoesv(Solanum tuberosum L.) arevhorticultural0cropsvgrown by farmers in the highlands. One of the most widely cultivated potato varieties in Indonesia is the granola variety. The cultivation of potato granola varieties is estimated to be 85v-c90% of the total potato land in Indonesia.EGranola potato varieties have excellence high productivity, oval rounded tuber shape, yellow tuber flesh color, and shallow bulb eyes. Potatoes (Solanum tuberosum L.) are the commodities that support the food security, but nowadays,Itheir productivity is still low, due to the use of quality potato seeds by farmers is low. Potatoes are usually propagated by tubers or vegetatively. Aside from being vegetative, tuber propagation is also done by in vitro or tissue culture method. The pre-research wasbconducted on January 2, 2019 until April 20, 2019. The research began on1April 23,22019 until31, 2019.GThe pre-research5and research conducted at the InvVitro1Culture Laboratory of the Universityrof Muhammadiyah Malang. The research conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD)vand repeated 3 times. The data can be analyzed with the ANOVA test and the comparative test of honest difference (BNJ)vlevel of 5%. The addition of sucroseCcombinationand cytokinin showed no3significant effect on the variable number of shoots, callus plantlets,vexplants with no tubers, explants with tubers, wet weight of planlets, dry weight of plantlets, and showed results had a1significant effect3on the variable number of tubers, the tubers’s diameter, andfthe freshvweight tubers.
