- Drinking water as one of the processed raw water should be a feasibility to be consumed every day. Polluted drinking water is a threat to society. People deserve drinking water that has been freed from Total Coliform bacteria. This research aims to determine the quality of drinking water refill by seeing the Total Coliform bacteria and Fecal Coliform contained in drinking water refill in Trenggalek district Pogalan. This research was conducted in the laboratory of Jasa Tirta II Malang. Sampling of drinking water is done in 4 villages located in the area of the district Pogalan Trenggalek. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive research. The study was conducted for 2 weeks with the Most Probable Number (MPN) method. The data analysis techniques used in this research are preliminary analysis and test affirmation of MPN for Total Coliform and Fecal Coliform bacteria.The results showed that there were bacteria in the 4 samples of drinking water refill in Trenggalek district Pogalan. All research samples have Total Coliform and Fecal Coliform bacteria that exceed the threshold set by the government in the Minister of Health regulation of the Republic of Indonesia number 492 year 2010 on drinking water quality requirements There should be no bacteria exceeding 0/100 ml of the sample.
