- This research making of composites with the choice of Titanium reinforcement material was chosen because the potential for its utilization is very large and has not been optimally carried out in Indonesia. This study aims to study variations in the composition of Titanium powder on the former piston aluminum through the Vickers and Porosity tests. In specimen testing using the Vickers test, the greatest average resistance value is needed in the percentage needed by Ti at 12%, with a value of 21.93 VHN. While the highest porosity value obtained in the estimation produces Ti at 12% with a value of 0.63% which is the largest percentage of the specimen value.
