  • Pink Oyster Mushroom is one type of food that is non-cholesterol and includes high nutritious foods. Oyster Mushroom has the influence of anti-Leurotus HIV, anti-tumor, antioxidant, lowers sugar and cholesterol levels and can solve the problem of malnutrition, and lowers blood pressure (Lakshmi, 2013). Gamal plants have an advantage over other types of Leguminoceae that can be easily cultivated, rapid growth, high biomass production. (Jusuf, 2007). Rice husk contains carbon in the form of cellulose in considerable quantities. Rice husk has a fairly high carbohydrate content with cellulose as its main constituent. (Mastuti, 2005). The purpose of this research is to find out the composition of the leaf Gamal and rice husk as a mixture of planting media to the growth of mycelium and the results of pink oyster mushrooms. Research was conducted in the production Unit of Biotechnology Development Center, integrated land Faculty of livestock Farming University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Research conducted from February to July 2019. The study was carried out using a simple complete random design (RAL) consisting of 6 treatments, each repeated treatment 4 times, each repeat of 5 samples. Its observation variables are mycelium growth, mycelium density, number of hoods, cap thickness, hood diameter, fresh weight, hood color, biological efficiency. Then tested with BNJ 5%. Based on the results of the research that has been implemented can be taken the impact of the media that is given 150g Gamal leaves + 30g rice husk (G5) shows the best results in the diameter of the hood, the thickness of the hood, fresh weight, color brightness and value of biological efficiency . Standard Media (G0) without the addition of Gamal leaves and rice husk show the best results in the growth of mycelium, mycelium thickness, and number of hoods.
