- One of the factors that affects the growth and development of plants is illumination. Hylocereus cortaricensis is one of the plants that requires full light. According to the statement, farmers in Banyuwangi provide additional light and prolong the light exposure to the plant. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of different light intensities on chlorophyll content and dragon fruit yields. The type of this research was a true experiment with 27 samples of 3 research groups and 9 replications. This research used powers with 12 watts and 15 watts. The data obtained were then analyzed using One-Way ANOVA with significant level of 5%. The analysis result of the data obtained had an effect on different lights on chlorophyll content and dragon fruit yields (0.000). The highest chlorophyll a content was 8.32 mg/g, which was found in sunlight treatment and the addition of 15 watts power, the highest chlorophyll b content was 7.20 mg/g, which was found in the sunlight treatment. Hylocereus cortaricensis yields in sunlight treatment and the addition of 15 watts power with yields of 22 pieces. The development of the research results can be used as a learning resource based on the requirements of potential clarity, learning purposes clarity, objectives clarity, information clarity and results clarity.
