- Sepinggan Balikpapan Airport is one of the companies engaged in aviation services. In addition to these existence of service activities for passengers, there are also facilities and infrastructure activities supporting these services. In order to meet the expectations of passengers, the company must be able to provide good quality service. Therefore, there is a need to look at the Baggage Handling System area at the airport to improve airport performance. This study applies the Six Sigma method with a solution in the form of TRIZ. The function of applying the method is to reduce the level of baggage damage at the airport. Based on the results of the study showed the most damage problem occurred lies in the burst of baggage which reached 36.8% with 689 cases.
