  • The development of technology makes te company compete in improving the quality of production and machinery is the main factor. Proper machine maintenance makes the machine run smoothly and can be used for a long period of time, but if engine maintenance goes wrong it can hinder production and cause losses to the company. This research was conducted at PT INKA (Persero), by taking the object of damage to the machine. The machine that suffered the highest damage was a Horizontal Milling machine with a total damage of 14 times in 1 year. The method used in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) II produces optimal oil component changes every 42 days, body cables every 54 days, vanbelt components every 55 days, and bearing components every 63 days. Resulting in a reduction in downtime of 13.48% with component replacement costs of Rp 1,090,331 for a year.
