- Empowerment carried out by P2TP2A Kota Batu is through training, mentoring, and rehabilitation of women victims of sexual violence. Empowerment is not easy to do easily, of course there are driving factors and inhibiting factors therein. In this study using qualitative research methods with the type of descriptive research. Research location in P2TP2A Kota Batu. Data obtained through the process of observation, interviews and documentation. The theory used is the theory of empowerment of Jim Ife. In determining the subjects in this study using purposive sampling including the head of the field of women's empowerment and child protection, a team of assistants from P2TP2A, and a group of women victims of sexual violence who are directly in the implementation of the empowerment. The results of this study indicate that in the empowerment of women victims of sexual violence there are stages of empowerment, namely, the ability to build themselves, show identity as women who dare to blend socially, and the results of products in empowerment to success in empowerment. In this research, the ability to build oneself is a group of women victims of sexual violence which requires intervention from P2TP2A with the aim of showing women victims of sexual violence to be brave to rise up and blend again into the social environment by providing assistance and empowerment. From this assistance and empowerment, the products of empowerment will be produced, namely the work of every individual female victim of sexual violence. The work will be followed up by P2TP2A in collaboration with other agencies to provide employment opportunities for women victims of sexual violence.
