  • The use of inorganic fertilizers continuously causes the lack of nutrients in the soil, so that the effect of decreasing the productivity of tomato plants which causes the quality of tomatoes decreases. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of various concentrations of Azolla microphylla green fertilizer on the quality of tomatoes and can be used as a Biology Learning Source. This research uses a quantitative approach to pure experimental research. The experimental design used RAL with 7 treatments namely 0.39%, 0.79%, 1.18%, 1.57%, 1.96%, control treatment without fertilizer, and NPK fertilizer with 4 replications. Papulation used was tomatoes with the sample used was the harvest of 28 tomato plants. Data analysis techniques used the One Way Test - ANOVA and Kruskal Wallis. The parameters of this study examined the weight of tomatoes, the classification of tomato fruit size, the level of ketup of tomatoes, and the level of damage to tomatoes. The results showed that there was an effect on the weight of tomatoes with a probability value of 0.086> 0.05 and the most significant mean at a concentration of 1.96% W was 129.73 grams. The results on aging showed that there was a significant effect with a probability value of 0.472> 0.05 and the most significant mean in the control treatment (NPK) was 14.11. The results of the classification of the size of tomatoes and damage to tomatoes have no significant effect, however, when viewed from SNI including quality fruit because there are no fruits that have different sizes and no damage. Influence the quality of tomatoes due to the provision of green fertilizer Azolla microphylla which contains a lot of nitrogen because it can bind to the Anabaena azolla bacteria. The results of this study also have the potential as Biology Learning Resources on growth and development material for class XII SMA in odd semester for KD 4.1, namely Planning and conducting experiments on external factors that influence the process of plant growth and development, and reporting in writing using scientific writing procedures correct.
