- In addition to being a famous tourist area in the City of Songgoriti, Batu, the Songgoriti area is also famous for its accommodations because of its strategic location under the foot of the mountain. In addition to being able to bring income to the Songgoriti region, both the community and the region, the area is also a polemic for most people because it is famous for its villa plus-plus jockey whose existence is shrouded. This type of research is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques in this study used three stages, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The sampling technique is done by using the Snowball Sampling method. The data analysis technique uses 4 stages, which are describing, finding statements, the statements are grouped, then reflecting thoughts. Songgoriti area which is not only famous for tourist areas and lodging areas, but in the area of Songgoriti is also famous for its villa jockey services. The emergence of the villa jockey phenomenon that occurred in Songgoriti could not be separated because of the crowd of visitors staying in the Songgoriti area. There are 2 types of villa jockeys in the Songgoriti area, namely regular villa jockeys with plus-plus villa jockeys. The workings of ordinary villa jockeys only offer villa lodging services to visitors, while the workings of villa jockeys plus-plus not only offer lodging services to visitors but also offer prostitute services to visitors. In Max Webber's perspective, the phenomenon of Songgoriti villa jockey is also classified as a social action which is a traditional downward action and an intruental rational action where the action is carried out with conscious and independent means to achieve certain goals.
