- Abuse is a complex problem caused by the interaction of individual factors and socio cultural contition in the family, school and community itself. The existence of social support in one's life can have a positive influence on one's health and psychological well-being. This study aims to determine how Social Control in Familis of Former Drug Users. This study uses a qualitative approach in Wlingi District, Blitar Regency. The main taget in this study is the community who live in Wlingi subdistrict, family members who where former drug uses, and also former drug users by determining the subject in this study using the Snowball Sampling techique data collection methods used in this study are interviews observation. and documentation the data analysis model used in the Ulber Silahi analysis model, where in this analysis model there are three components consisting of data reduction data resentation, and data verification. The results of this study inicate that social control in the family of former drug users such ash cooperation, in the family, care in the family, social control through religious guidance, social guidance and also mental quidance. The conclusion from this study is that social control has a positive impact on former drug users, this making them motivated and helping them in the recovery procces. Suggestion are made fo families of former drug users to be abele to increase social control whithin their families, so that family members who are former drug users can live their lives as usual.
