These side effects can induce an inflammatory reaction and increase TNF-&#x3B1; level. Red ginger extract contains gingerol, zingeron and shogaol potentially used as anti inflammation. &#xD; Objective: To understand the effect of red ginger extract towards the levels of TNF-&#x3B1; in white rats induced by ethambutol, pyrazinamide and levofloxacin.&#xD; Method: True experimental research with post test control group design approach which divided into 5 groups (negative control, positive control, ginger dose 100mg/kgBW, ginger dose 200 mg/kgBW and ginger dose 400 mg / kgBW). The sample technique used Simple Random Sampling. Each group contained 4 rats were being observed for 28 days. Blood taken through the heart and measured by Elisa test then analyzed using One Way Annova, Post Hoc Bonferroni and Linear Regression Test.&#xD; Result and Discussion: Obtained average TNF-&#x3B1; levels K- (214,7); K+ (437,7); JI (352,7); JII (333,7); JIII (339,3). The Anova found significant differences TNF-&#x3B1; levels each group (p=0,000). The Post hoc bonferroni showed significant differences between groups that was only given ethambutol, pyrazinamide and levofloxacin with all the groups given ethambutol, pyrazinamide and levofloxacin and extracts of red ginger (P&lt;0,05). The Regression proved that the extracts of red ginger had influenced of 49% at decreasing TNF-&#x3B1; levels.
