- The word comedy means a light drama but full with humor despite its allusion and happy ending tastes for some instances. Disseminating message or critic through comedy seems easily acceptable and understandable by audiences. The audiences will be spoiled by comedy while capturing the message. Hence, the author put the interest to examine the comedy content attempted to reveal by Hanung Bramantyo in the “Get Married” movie. Method used in this research considers content analysis. A reason behind content analysis will be to get a result on or the understanding of messages communicated by mass media or of objectively systematic information sources. The author tries to elaborate the comedy content in “Get Married” movie. Research analysis unit may be the scene of “Get Married” precisely its 135 scenes. Of 135 scenes of “Get Married” movie, results indicate 26 scenes of insulting comedy comprising to 11 scenes of individual comedy performer and 15 scenes of collective comedy performer. For comedy slapstick, 15 scenes have been developed with 2 scenes of individual comedy performer and 13 scenes of collective comedy performer.
