According Linggar Anggoro, Effectiveness is the ability of a public relations message to reach its goals, such as the public interest above anything products, making consumers aware of and to recall certain products, invite them to come to the store, or even encourage them to buy it (Anggoro, 2000: 307). While Katz in Soemirat and Ardianto (2004: 113) says that the image is the way others look at a company, a person, a committee, or an activity. Operational definition in this study consisted of exposure to language and imagery of Walikan Malang Pos itself. This research is a quantitative study using a quantitative descriptive approach. The study was conducted on 28-30 December 2009, in RW 11 Kelurahan Sawojajar Malang. The population in this study Malang Pos customers in RW 11 Kelurahan Sawojajar Malang, who had read the rubric Ebes Ngalam, and researchers found as many as 32 population. While the sample in this study uses total sampling because the number of population is less than 100. Data analysis techniques used in this research is to use the formula Mean (average). Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the effectiveness of exposure to language in the rubric Walikan Ebes Ngalam as Malang Pos imaging is Korane Arek Malang is already effective. This can be proved from the comparison between Mh and Mh me with the results.
