These three drugs are of the type that might cause the most common side effect i.e. gastrointestinal disorders in the form of nausea (79.8%), and vomiting (78.9%). These effects can cause the patient to stop the medication (breaking up medication) which can cause resistance. the effects of SLD indicate an inflammatory response in the body that will respond to the immune system where IL-1β has a key role in the inflammatory process. Red ginger is known to have oleoresin which can function as the highest anti-inflammatory among other ginger variants. Objective : To determine the effect of red ginger extract on the levels of interleukin 1β cytokines in white rats (Rattus norvegicus strains wistar) induced with pyrazinamide, levofloxacin, and ethambutol. Methods : True experimental with posttest only control group design. The sample was divided into 5 groups (negative control, positive control, 100mg/KgBB, 200mg/KgBB, 400mg/KgBB). Levels of IL 1β were measured in blood serum using the ELISA method.
